About Us

City of Hope Academy

CoHA offers the British National Curriculum with a blend of the Liberian National Curriculum for and the University of Cambridge International Examinations Curriculum for Early Years, Primary and Secondary education. We also offer vocational skills for young women who have completed Year 9.

Our girls write the Cambridge Checkpoint for year 6 and 9, IGCSE, AS and A Level. CoHA combines a highly personalised approach to children’s social, intellectual, moral and physical development with excellent sporting and technological facilities, world class learning styles and equipment’s, small class sizes and a wide range of co-curricular activities.

Each child is an individual whose personal interests, emotions, motivations, needs and aspirations are understood by caring, highly qualified professionals committed to the highest quality of teaching and learning across the varied age range. It was formally established in September 2024 to provide high-quality, leading- edge qualifications that meet the international irrespective of their status, political affiliation, cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds. The School is made up of four departments: The Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Vocational Departments.

Our purpose is to provide quality International Educational Opportunities for Liberian girls and young Liberian women between the ages of 1 to 18 years, who are orphans or from disadvantage backgrounds. We also build mutually beneficial relationships between staff, students and the community as well as increasing appreciation of the UK’s educational system and achievements. Every child matters at City of Hope Academy. We want our children to grow and develop into well integrated citizens who are prepared for the future and therefore prepared to overcome the challenges of daily life.


CoHA is committed to its mission of extending access of high-quality British Education to people living in Liberia. The curricula and qualifications we offer are designed to support high-quality educational performance, developing successful students’ as lifelong learners and supporting the economic performance of Liberia.
